College and vocational training program students who are interested in making an impact on their community while gaining valuable on-the-job training and experience in a non-profit youth development environment and are compassionate and committed to enhancing the lives of children and youth are encouraged to explore an internship with Today's Youth Matter. Our internship assignment provide interns with an opportunity for real-time application of the concepts and theories from your educational or vocational program while serving children and families in our community.
Positions are non-paid by TYM. Academic credit can be provided for students applying for or enrolled in an internship position for units at any college, university, certification program, work-study, or cooperative education program. Internships require a minimum 90-day commitment to serve. Internships involving direct contact with populations we serve require submitting an Interest Application, interview, and background check clearance.
