A Bay Area native with a passion for teaching and youth development, Passionai is originally from Oakland. She spent most of her life in Antioch. She enjoys life with her husband Lanz and their energetic puppy-child, Smokey, a gray pit bull.
As the newest team member, joining the team in January of 2024, Passionai brings eight years of experience in youth ministry to her role at TYM. She has served as a Sunday school teacher and church youth group administrator at Anchor of Life Tabernacle in San Pablo. Additionally, she spent four years teaching children from preschool to 5th grade at Celebration Center.
When Passionai isn't nurturing young minds, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and discovering new culinary experiences. She also harbors a creative side, expressing herself through singing, songwriting, poetry, and spoken word. When asked what makes working with TYM kids and families so special, she replied, “I get to be a part of helping a child learn and grow mentally, emotionally, and most importantly, spiritually. Nothing beats leading a soul to Jesus!”

- I have been blessed with my wonderful husband, Lanz, whom I've been married to for one year. We have one puppy-child, Smokey, who is a gray pit bull with loads of energy!

- My hobbies are hiking and trying new restaurants. My passions are singing and writing songs, poetry, and spoken word. My favorite ice cream flavors are any version of vanilla, butter pecan, and pistachio.
