Moises (Moi) Ramirez is a dedicated individual with a compelling journey that has shaped his commitment to serving urban youth. Born to immigrant parents who emigrated to the United States in the 1980s, seeking a better life, unfortunately, settled into neighborhoods marked by gang activity. Inspired by his parents' values of hard work, commitment, and community care, Moi was instilled with a strong sense of purpose.
Driven by a desire for more and a passion to impact urban youth positively, Moi embarked on a journey of education and service. He initially enrolled at Heald College and later transferred to Pacific Union College, where he earned his BA in Religion. Furthering his commitment to social impact, Moi pursued a Masters in Nonprofit Administration at the University of San Francisco.
Throughout his professional journey, Moi has co-founded and led various ministries, including those focused on homelessness and youth empowerment. His experience includes roles as a youth pastor and associate pastor, where he has been instrumental in guiding and mentoring young individuals. Since 2020, serving as an Area Director for Today's Youth Matter, Moi continues to channel his passion into creating meaningful and lasting change in the lives of those he encounters.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Moi finds joy and fulfillment in his family life. Married to his beautiful wife, Nephthali Ramirez, they are the proud parents of a vibrant Mateo, born in 2021, and their second son, Noah, born in 2024. Moi's journey is a testament to the transformative power of faith, education, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to building a brighter future for the next generation.
