Marshelle A. Wilburn is a California native, born in Southern California, raised in Daly City and San Francisco, relocated to the East Bay in 1988, and has been a resident of Richmond since 2005. She is a wife, mother of five +1 chosen, speaker, author, international leadership trainer, urban missionary and non-profit leader. Since 2001, she has partnered in ministry with her husband, Port, Executive Director of Missions of Bridges Bay Area Association and in his role as Executive Pastor and Church Planter of Rock Harbor Christian Fellowship, San Pablo. She served 16 years on the leadership team of one of the San Francisco Bay’s largest Christian homeless shelters, the Bay Area Rescue Mission. She has been a Lifeway Christian Resources speaker and author of bible study curriculum since 2015. With a degree in Clinical Psychology and a career in education, she is passionate about teaching and encouraging others to live their purpose fully.
As of July 2023, she became the Executive Director of Today’s Youth Matter and is thrilled to have returned to her passion of impacting the lives of youth and helping them discover and fulfill their purpose in life. With a heart for empowering young people, Marshelle brings years of leadership, passion, and community engagement to her role, striving to make a lasting impact on the next generation. Her work is grounded in her faith and her commitment to creating opportunities for growth and transformation for youth aged 7-15 to adulthood. Marshelle's vision continues to inspire others to support and invest in the future of these young lives.
Her loves are being a wife and mom of her four+1 daughters, only son, and “Noni” to her
granddaughter, spending time with family, SIMMERing in God’s Word, studying, and teaching the Bible, beaches, rocks, coffee, and kiddos!
