What To Pack
Summer Camp | Backpacking | Snow Hut Trips

SUMMER CAMP
Weather conditions at camp range from low 50s at night to mid 80s during the day.
Rain is a remote possibility in late June.

VOLUNTEER PACK LIST
1-2 pair of closed toed shoes
1 pair of sandals (optional for pool)
3-4 pair socks
Underwear
1 Swimsuit
1 towel for pool
2 pair shorts
2 pair long pants
2-3 T-shirts
1 Waterproof jacket or poncho
Warm hat & gloves
1 sun visor/cap
Personal care items (travel size is best)
Travel size packet of Wet Wipes (there are no showers at camp)
Prescriptions
Lip protection
Sunscreen
1 flashlight and extra batteries (head lamp recommended)
Sunglasses
Bug Repellent
Bible
Pen and notepad
Camera (optional)
Water bottle
Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad
Pillow

*** Please do not bring anything valuable to camp. There is no guarantee that it will be not be lost.

BACKPACKING
Weather conditions range from low 30s at night to mid 80s during the day. Snow and sleet are possible. Sleeping attire consists of clean shirt/socks/underwear. We recommend clean and dry socks be worn in the sleeping bag.

VOLUNTEER PACK LIST
1 pair of spare shoes, closed toe sandals or light weight tennis shoes
3-4 pair socks and liners
Underwear (number personal choice)
1 Swimsuit
1-2 sports bras for women hikers (nylon or spandex dry faster than cotton)
1 pair shorts, nylon dries faster than cotton
1 pair long pants (NO jeans because they are cotton)
2-3 T-shirts, nylon dries faster than cotton
1 long-sleeve shirt
1 light sweater or fleece
1 pair Fleece Pants
1 Fleece Jacket
1 Fleece Vest
1 Waterproof jacket or poncho
Thermal under layer top & bottom
Warm hat & gloves
1 sun visor/cap
1-2 Bandanas or buffs (2 bandanas recommended for women)
Personal care items (travel size is best)
Travel size packet of Wet Wipes
Prescriptions
Lip protection
Sunscreen
1 very small flashlight and extra batteries/bulb (head lamp highly recommended)
Sunglasses
Bug Repellent

SNOW HUT TRIPS
Weather conditions range from low 10s at night to mid 40s during the day. Snow and sleet are possible. Sleeping attire consists of clean shirt/socks/underwear. We recommend clean and dry socks be worn in the sleeping bag.

1 pair hiking boots (sorel boots and snow board boots are good alternatives)
2 pair socks (wool or synthetic blend)
1 pair water proof snow pants
1 pair polyester/ fleece pants (long underwear)
1 nylon T-shirt, No cotton allowed
1 nylon long-sleeve shirt, no cotton allowed
1 fleece Jacket (warm)
1 Waterproof ski jacket
Warm hat
water proof snow gloves
1 sun visor/cap
Personal care items (travel size is best)
Travel size packet of Wet Wipes
Prescriptions
Lip protection
Sunscreen
1 very small flashlight and extra batteries/bulb (head lamp highly recommended)
Sunglasses and or Ski goggles
Bandana or Face Mask (optional)
2-3 small candles
1 liter water bottle (no camelbacks - tubes freeze)
